Hello! I’ve been photographing families for almost six years, and in the midst of raising and homeschooling my two sons, I help growing families freeze time for a few moments to notice the little things, from their daughter’s smile or their son’s giggle to the way Mama looks with her littlest in her belly or in her arms. When I’m not photographing babies and families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I’m helping clients design beautiful heirloom albums and prints to take their images from sitting on a hard drive to the walls of their homes.
I offer sessions in your home, in my studio in Little Elm, a Dallas studio, or at any outdoor location. Every session with me includes your whole family, including Milestone sessions. In addition, each session includes a pre-session phone call (optional), use of my client closet for Mamas and for littles (up to size 4T), and newborn wraps, headbands, and props. My client closet is not available for mini-sessions.

You've inquired about your session with Lindsey Dutton Photography, and I couldn't be more thrilled to work with you. I'll send along this Investment Guide, and after you've decided if I'm a good fit for you, it's time to set up a date and secure your session. If you have any questions before or after booking, we can hop on the phone to chat away! Once you've officially booked, here's what you can expect from me...
What to expect
Once your date is reserved, I'll send along a questionnaire to begin preparing details, such as the location of your session. I generally recommend choosing one location and if it's a place I haven't been before, I will check it out before our session to ensure that the light, crowds, and closing time will work well.
If you're not sure about where you would like to take your photos but you have a general idea of the look you would like, please let me know - I'm happy to recommend a few locations based on your desired aesthetic!
Location
If picking out outfits for photos takes you back to your high school days, when you literally tried on everything in your closet and tossed everything in a heap on your bed without settling on an outfit, you're in luck!
I create an extensive outfit styling guide with tips for every member of the family! I also offer full-session clients access to my client closet full of flattering dresses and wardrobe options for Mama and littles (up to size 5T)!
Client Closet + Styling
On the day of your session, I'll care for all of the details to ensure that everything is set for success. From the weather at our location to props or styling details, I'll communicate it all with you. If you opt to add hair and make-up application to your session date, we'll go over those details, too, so that you're feeling confident and photo-ready!
During your session, I will guide you through a series of prompts and will capture the beautiful connections and real-life moments, too.
Session Day
Your images from our sessions are typically delivered within two to three weeks of the session date via an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to share your favorite images with family, work with me to create heirloom albums and prints, and even download images to share on social media.
Your gallery will remain active for six weeks.
Delivery
I believe that the most beautiful aspect of photography is the legacy that it creates for your family for generations to come. I work with each client to create custom, heirloom-quality albums, wall-mounted canvas prints, and framed artwork to complement the decorations in your home. I can't wait to serve you!

WHAT TO EXPECT –
Most expectant mamas book at the start of their second trimester. I only take a limited amount of newborns a month, so booking early will ensure that I have a spot for you!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
Trust me when I say this: EVERYONE feels awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living, and I even struggle at times in front of the camera!
You're going to feel awkward at first, but please know that I have every detail cared for. I'll work you through gentle prompts and poses, and by the end of the session, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. Please don't worry about your kids! I'm well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.
We're Awkward, and my kids don't sit still.
Please know that I'll be checking the weather throughout the days and hours leading up to your session. If it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail, or simply be less than ideal, I'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Within 2-3 weeks of your session we will schedule you reveal appointment where you will choose your collection and artwork!
I'll also work directly with you to create custom heirloom-quality albums and artwork for your family! These typically take 4-5 weeks to ship and deliver.
